Toyota Canada Furious Cars Images Review

Toyota Canada Inc. announced today that it will add a second production shift at its Woodstock, Ontario assembly plant, bringing more than 800 jobs.

The automaker said it is increasing production of the RAV4 to 150,000 vehicles a year to meet the strong demand for the compact crossover utility vehicle.
Call it what you want just don't call it a recall. And in all fairness it's not a recall. Toyota Canada and Transport Canada have concluded their investigation into "potential accelerator pedal entrapment due to incompatible or unsecured all-weather floor mats."

The verdict, according to Toyota Canada, is that there is no risk of the gas pedal being depressed by their (Toyota Canada) all-weather floor mats because Toyota Canada's floor mats are different from those in the U.S.

Despite this, Toyota Canada will be launching a voluntary safety campaign involving seven Toyota and Lexus models
