But, sherman has a point....
1. Why do we put up with the inefficiencies of the American Govt?
2. Why do we sit down and accept what is given to us instead of asking for what we want/ desire?
3. Why do I hear - "I am not interested in protesting" or "I don't have the time" from folks that are paying a high price due to retrogression?
We are LEGAL, tax paying, resident aliens that are contributing to the economic growth and not siphoning off government funds. Don't we deserve better?
Why were there 100's of thousands of faxes sent by NumbersUSA (aka Sherman and gang) while all we could muster was a meager 20000? Where are the rest of the 1.2 million EB applicants?????
Its time we stood up and showed them our strength. We have the numbers- we just need the strenght and courage to stand up for our convictions.

Please dear god..... let them consider priority date instead of the notice date. Mine is Oct 15th 2007. Our priority dates were current for three times and our application never touched, all our friends March 2006 to Jun 2006 filers got their cards a couple of years ago....:rolleyes:

Hi all:
Thanks for all your advice and understanding. I could not post earlier as we were busy following up the case with the authorities. I have two lawyers on board and a wonderful, unexpected, child abuse NGO person helping us deal with the situation. Most importantly, the baby is in perfect condition after having everything scanned and reviewed with two pediatricians�.it is possible, as one person helping us mentioned that the rough handling may appear exaggerated on the video bcos low resolution cameras sometimes exaggerate slower movements into sudden and forceful movements (I don�t fully understand)- which is also ok w/ me as my child having been safe is more imp to me....at the minimum she will be deported and barred from entry, or likely fully convicted and behind bars...from what I have heard till now, we will likely not be penalized as there are some protection and immunities in these cases for those who testify (and most certainly INS will never be involved)�and at most there may be some fines�
....and to some others who have misread a few things I mentioned: a/ the baby did not remain with the nanny for even a second after we suspected something fishy b/ we were not saving money with this nanny: 350$ (plus food, commute, and phone cards is above average here even for a legal worker. Also we selected her after observing her (and earlier another nanny) at home for 2 weeks with the baby while my mom-in-law was there and all of us had felt for some reason that she was the better one��..and to everybody with kids: no matter how much you trust your nanny, however well referenced they are- use a nannycam�.you may amazed at what you see�.there is something about having the whole house to yourself with an infant that makes some people crazy- so that their suppressed anger/envy and whatever else is hidden comes out on a poor speechless baby.
Nice job man. I can understand this can be tricky given the immigration hoops that we have to jump through. But as the father of a toddler myself, I must tell you that you did absolutely the right thing. Its not fair, not to you and your wife, your kid nor to other little kids, for that person to have been freely roaming around. The people who inflict that kind of physical abuse on a little baby need to be taken care of without regard to other factors.

Please do not try to thwart the campaign. We are trying to address a specific issue, which is about blocking approvals when dates are current, and for that, we are using this current fiasco as an example. The USCIS memo specifically talks about EB2 india, china applicants on hold. Since EB3 was listed as U, we cannot do anything about it. If both EB2 and EB3 were current, I would have given a call to both. There is no belittling out here. the Circumstances are like that.
EB2 and EB3 are working together in the visa re-cpature.
This is a separate issue, but will be useful when visa re-capture is successful.

Lets not strictly follow what USCIS did and did not do in memo. We are all seeing the entire drama for the last 3-4 years.
Every EB3 after a little more experience gets qualified into EB2. Cant the department understand this , which we all do. There is no order. Lets together fight for a common cause and not discrimiate between Eb2 or EB3.
Commonsense rule is , if you are allowing 10 H1s to be processed, then why are you processing only 2-3 Greencards. What abot the remaining 7 and why should they wait, even after 8 years???.
Spillover and quotas are all BS.
Lets raise our voice together and see if they follow some discipline.
Anyone more than 8-10 years of being in the US and who followed the rules with merit deserves citizenship. Lets voice together as a campaign and get it straight. Yes, I am in the US for 9 years now..

This thread starts with a call to all the EB2 people. Is it only the EB2 people suffering due to USCIS actions? Or are EB2 applicants a distinguised lot that they dont want EB3 to join with them?
It is so depressing to see the attitude of some of these guys !!! There have been so many threads explaining the difference(or indifference) between the qualifications of the applicants.
The suffering has been equally bad or even much worse for the EB3 applicants. I am an EB3 2003 applicant and my suffering has been equally painful. The campaign should be about fair treatment to every applicant, not alone EB2 or EB3.
Any campaign will only be successful when we try to do something together.
If you yourself are belittling the EB3 applicants, why do you have higher expectations from the American Citizens/Government.

Isn�t it odd that the timing of your rally coincides with the introduction of the Strive act?
Granted you scored a point when you were allowed to file for employment authorization this July. If your one rally worked, do you really think other rallies will work too? The world of politics is driven by numbers; you do not have enough numbers to get any lawmaker interested. So wake up Macacas, admit it, you all are bunch of losers.
So far as the skills are concerned, you have been harping on the theme that you are highly skilled? If the definition of highly skilled is a mere undergrad degrees then 75% of Adult Americans are highly skilled. I bet not even 5% of you have PHDs and you call yourself highly skilled. Huhhh
And this for the leadership of your organization: You are wasting your time. If you are so desperate to get green cards contact me. We will see what we can do� One thing I believe though is this country needs people with leadership skills and not so called "Highly Skilled". So I will be more than happy to work with you. If you're worried, the easiest thing to do is to have the name changed in the passport. The Consulate doesn't ask for any questions and issues the new passport within a day. For my friend, the first name and the last name were interchanged and getting the new passport was a breeze.

My friend, Who said its not a problem? in my earlier post I have provided a big laundry list of Line cutting measures in place are these not problems? BUT the point is , is it worth it a fight ? Subs is long gone, We are fighting for Country quota from a year + atleast and we are still at square one and the problems keep worsens. We all worry about subs where there is no action. There is no fixing to this right now its a dead horse. Problem is VISA Numbers in XYZ,000's. Lets recapture them...
Why do you think it is unethical, I was stuck in Labor My comp gave me one option use either subs or dont ask us... In fact I even dont have exact copies of my subs thats hidden from me. So for me is that Unethical? For me a person who qualifies for EB2 and applies now is a line cutter due to the fact that EB2 Q is better than EB3 and they are getting green card faster. Law allows them to do that. is it not jealous to me ? The list grows...
